Robert has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Chartered Accountant by trade. Robert was a Senior Executive for 26 years at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia Ltd, and in the role of Divisional General Manager for 10 years, which involved reporting directly to the Board. His initiatives at Toyota included developing new business ventures, business rationalisations, major profit improvement strategies and large property developments.

Robert now operates his own Business Advisory service working at a more leisurely pace utilising the many years of experience and knowledge that only age can bring.

Robert has also served on many local and community based Boards and Committees including the Sutherland Shire Economic Development Committee, the Business Enterprise Centre (BEC), the NSW SES Volunteers Association, the Wise Owls Business Consulting, the Breakfree Foundation, Shirebiz and the Sutherland Shire Hub for Economic Development and now BFF 4 Change.
