Esna’s career started as an Accounting Trainee in Local Government. She used her experience in both private and government sectors to venture into the hospitality industry, opening the successful The Vinyl Room nightclub in 1998. It still operates successfully today!

She also operates a strong 8 truck, 10 person, skip bin business with her partner. Working in small family businesses, has given Esna all-round experience of every facet of business, and its requirements and challenges.

Esna is currently Secretary of Sutherland Shire Liquor Accord (since 2008) and President of Gymea Chamber of Commerce (since 2014). She has also been a President of a local Scout Group.
